It was 7 o'clock in the evening and the skies were clear. There was a slight breeze in the air. The breeze itself was cool and to most people, it felt nice. It wasn't too hot and it wasn't too cold, it was the perfect combination of the two. The artificial moon was out and the light emanating from it was especially nice. Aixus was in his room laying on his bed with his eyes open. His night was free and his mind was going crazy.
What are you doing?
"Nothing." Aixus said in a blank tone.
Why are you doing nothing?
"It's been awhile since I've had free time. Ever since coming here, I haven't had time to myself and we both know there was no time for resting before either."
So, what's the problem?
"That's just it." He said, as he sat up. "I don't know what to do with all this extra time."
You do know you have a girlfriend, right? And friends you can go see? Stop acting like someone who doesn't.
"Well I mean, Clerxha's probably busy. I wouldn't wanna bother her."
Just go. If you don't, I'll start singing. Opera. You don't want this.
"On second thought, she's probably not that busy." He said, springing up and heading for the door.
Go take a shower, you stink.
Aixus grunts before turning around and going into the bathroom. He takes a shower and brushes his teeth upon getting out. He gets dressed and grabs his coat before heading out once again. He walks through the hallways, thinking where Clerxha might be. Well, knowing her, she's probably still at her shop. Still, it wouldn't hurt to pass by her room. Nah, she's definitely at her shop. He thought to himself as he walked the hallways of the castle. The castle itself seemed empty. All that was heard was the sound of Aixus' steps as he walked. When he got outside, he noticed the city was quiet as well. Upon getting to the shopping district, he noticed most of the shops were closed as well; specifically, the numberless shops.
It looks like the rioters are inactive as of late. However, the disappearances still occur and cannot be ignored. But, I'll worry about all that later, I'm going to see Clerxha right now.
Has anybody ever told you that you're amazing at stating the obvious? Because you are. Have you thought about doing it for a living? You'd be unrivaled if you did. Like seriously, no one would be better at it than you. It's actually quite scary, the amount of talent you have of stating the obvious.
"Shut up." Aixus says, just before arriving at Clerxha's shop. The store itself was closed, but the lights inside were still on, indicating that there was someone in there.
Gee, I wonder who's in there. If I was as good at stating the obvious as you are, I'd be able to figure it out, but I'm not, so *sigh*
Aixus looked at his watch, ignoring the hell out of the inner voice. He stood there waiting patiently for Clerxha to come and open the door.
