Op Eeveelutions? Really? Last time I checked, Flareon has a base attack stat of 130 and a base sp. def of 110 while all his other stats are shit. His attack doesn't do anything for him due to the fact that all the STAB moves he can do are sp. atk with the exception of Flare Blitz, which he's only been able to learn since either the 5th or 6th generation. (I'm pretty sure it's 5th, but I could be wrong). His sp. def doesn't help him because his regular defense is shit. An Earthquke from just about any Pokemon can take him out. And it's not like he has any chance of out speeding anyone with the base speed of 65, that's shit on every single level.
Let's talk about Jolteon now. Base sp atk of 110 and base speed at 130. I'd have to admit that it's decent base stats, however base stats don't mean everything. A Pokemon like Electivire can do Joleteon's job way better. Electivire and many other electric types have the ability to use a large variety of fighting type moves like Brick Break, Hammer arm, and Cross Chop. Jolteon can only do Double Kick and Rock Smash. With a base attack stat of 65, that's shit. If only Jolteon could learn Focus Blast.
Now for Vaporeon. Gyarados, Blastoise, Milotic, Feraligatr, Swampert, Kingdra, Politoad, Poliwrath, etc. These are part of the long list of water types that I would prefer to have on my team besides this garbage. It would be easier to list the water Pokemon that are worse than him. Wailord.
Umbreon is the best Eeveelution, though that doesn't necessarily make it a good Pokemon. Umbreon is a great wall, but with so many other Pokemon to do it's job better it's just bad. Shuckle, Slowbro, Snorlax, Bastiodon, etc.
Espeon is also a great Eeveelution, the only reason Umbreon is better is because Umbreon is immune to all of Espeon's STAB attacks. The problem with Espeon in general is that almost every other psychic type can learn move of multiple types, Espeon can only learn moves of psychic, ghost, normal, and fairy. That may seem like a lot, but it's nothing compared to what the average psychic types can do. Also, there's a certain badass that seems to be a shoo in for most Pokemon Trainers' team; Alakazam.
Leafeon is a grass type................oh I'm sorry, I have to elaborate on that? Grass types in general are the second worst, right before bug types. And with so many other grass types that I would rather have on my team, Leafeon is just another meaningless eeveelution. Venasaur, Sceptile, Torterra, Victreebel, and others that I can't think of right now cause I'm very tired.
Glaceon. I'll make your lives easier. Lapras, Warlein, Galie, Froslass, Weavile, and basically all the Pokemon I named when I was talking about Vaporeon. Glaceon is just Vaporeon, but worse.
I'm not going to say anything about Silveon because I have to much hate against the fairy typing in general that I feel like whatever I have to say about this Pokemon would just be my hatred towards his kind in general. (I hate all fairy types except for the ones that came before generation six because they weren't originally fairy type.)
I don't want you guys to get the wrong idea. I love Eevee and his evos, I've trained all the different Eveelutions a lot of times during the time I've spent playing Pokemon. I think Eevee is a cool, unique and fun Pokemon. In the end however, Eevee and his evos suck for competitive battling. Fun to train, yes but calling them OP just makes them more overrated than Charizard and I'm not going to get into how overrated Charizard is because I'm like really tired and I want to go to sleep.
