Here's my Top Ten Favorite Pokemon List.
Number 10: Scizor
Usually bug types are nobody's favorite but, Scizor is a badass Pokemon both in style and performance. With his high ass attack and Technician ability that raises the power of any move it uses with the power of 60 or lower by 50%, I don't see how this metallic bug could not be on this list.
Number 9: Snorlax
I'm a Dragon Lover. It is My favorite type. All the non-dragon Pokemon that are in this list are truly badass, or special. Snorlax is a great pokemon to have especially if you combine body slam and curse. What I like most about Snorlax is it's design and personality. All it does is eat, sleep and kick ass. Great Pokemon that is fun to train.
Number 8: Espeon and Umbreon
These two Pokemon are a huge part of my childhood. I got into Pokemon when I was 9. Pokemon Coloseum was my second Pokemon game and starting out with these two Pokemon didn't make me happy at first, but after seeing Espeon dish out huge amounts of damage and seeing Umbreon take huge damage in, my thoughts on the two of them changed and I beat that game like it was my job.
Number 7: Salamance
Salamance is a badass dragon type Pokemon. Bagon is so rare in emerald version that when I finally found one, I was so excited that I bragged about it to my friends for weeks (literally). You can only imagine how I got when it evolved into a Salamance. It was probably the happiest day of my 2004.
Number 6: Alakazam
Alakazam is awesome Pokemon with a huge movepool. It was really hard for me to get one because I didn't know anyone that had a link cable so I could trade my Kadabra and evolve it. Alakazam looks like the sage of sages; the only thing wiser than this Pokemon is it's Mega Evolution.
Number 5: Jigglypuff
Yes, you read correctly; Jigglypuff. All my life I always thought Jigglypuff to be like the worst Pokemon ever, but then I decided to train one. Since it's a normal type, it has a great move pool and it ended up being a great Pokemon to train and it's also one of the first 6 Pokemon I EV trained. In case anyone was wondering, I did end up evolving it into Wigglytuff.
Number 4: Squirtle
Many people chose Charizard when they first played through the Kanto Region, but I chose Squirtle. Squirtle is also the first Pokemon that I beat the game with without evolving it. It was just way too much fun to see my Squirtle go through the elite four and make it to the Hall Of Fame.
Number 3: Blaziken
Blaziken is a badass flaming chicken Pokemon. However, that's not why it make Number 3. Like I said before, I started playing Pokemon when I was 9 and the first game I played was Emerald. The reason why Blaziken makes this list is because he was my first Pokemon, he was the first to evolve, he was to first to reach his last evolutionary state, and he was the first to reach level 100. When I was playing emerald I got stuck on the part where you have to find Captain Stern in Slateport. Eventually, I got tired of looking for Stern and decided to train Combusken until he evolved an I did. I had my Blaziken before I even got my third badge.
Number 2: Rayquaza
Believe it or not, Rayquaza's not on this list solely because of his badassity. He's makes this list because it was him that got me into Pokemon. I saw this badass green serpent on the cover of the game I was immediately in line to buy the game. I started playing Emerald so that I could get the chance to catch that badass looking Pokemon. I've had a lot of fun playing Pokemon and I would've never gotten into the series without Rayquaza, so THANKS RAQUAZA!!!
NUMBER 1: Dragonite
When I was in my early years of playing Pokemon I had a cousin that played it with me. His name is John Elliot. He literally taught me everything I needed to know about the game. His favorite Pokemon was Dragonite and at first I didn't understand why. He told me that if I could catch a Dratini in the Safari Zone and train it to level 100, that I would be a true Pokemon Master. I was like 10 at the time, so this could have just been him trying to make the accomplishment sound cool. But whatever, I did it and Dragonite was a huge success. I used it to beat the Pokemon League for the second time in Fire Red, and I also used it in a lot of my battle frontier battles. John is in the Airforce now and I don't get to see him much, but whenever I see the back of a Dragonie when I'm playing a Pokemon game, I remember all the good times I had playing with my cousin before he left.
Well That's my top ten favorite Pokemon. I'd like to know some of you guy's top ten Pokemon and why they're on your list. Comment, rate, subscribe; bye.
